Become A Servant Worker

In an effort to have the right people who are in the right place at the right time doing the right thing for the right reason, we employ a multi-step sign-up process.  The process includes:

  • Servant Worker Interest Form
  • Spiritual Gifts Inventory 
  • BGGO Reality-Based Self Assessment 
  • LOGB Personality Test 
  • Servant Worker Dialogue 
  • Observation

Spiritual Gifts Inventory


In an effort to ensure that servant workers are operating within their spiritual giftedness, we ask that you complete this Spiritual Gifts Inventory which has 160 questions and will take you 30-60 minutes to complete.


BGGO Reality-Based Self Assessment


In an effort to ensure that we have the right people in the right places, we ask that you complete this personality profile which has 20 items and will take you 5-10 minutes to complete.  Results will be provided to you for your use and understanding.


LOGB Personality Test:
In an effort to ensure that we have the right people in the right places, we ask that you complete this personality profile which has 40 items and will take you 10-15 minutes to complete.  Results will be provided to you for your use and understanding.


Servant Worker Dialogue
In an effort to ensure that you are able to serve in a capacity that is best for your skill set, interests, and personality, we want to get to know you better as an individual.  The dialogue will include topics such as your spiritual walk, interests, qualifications, and perceptions as situational scenarios you have experienced

I understand that I will be given access to all policies associated with the performance of my duties in this servant worker position. I also understand that acceptance as a servant worker is contingent on the results of a background check and successful completion of Safe Sanctuaries training. Acceptance and agreement to abide by St. James UMC’s policies and guidelines is required prior to placement in this servant worker position.
