Roswell Nursing Home, Sunday, November 5th
SJUMC fellowship with the residents of the Roswell Nursing Home through praise, worship and song. Worship service is from 3pm-4pm and is located at 1109 Green St, Roswell GA 30075.
Habitat for Humanity 300th Home Celebration Gala, Saturday, November 11th
6pm Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta
Habitat for Humanity is celebrating its 300th build. They are seeking choir members who are available to perform at the gala. They have six seats available for performers to attend the gala. There will be a silent auction. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org

Habitat for Humanity Builds Saturday, November 18th & December 2nd

Generosity: Giving, Going and Growing. St. James will celebrate Mission Sunday at both services. We will welcome Dr. Winston Worrell and several of our Outreach partners. Come and be a part of all the great things God has been doing and will do through St. James UMC to help those in need near and far.
Family Promise Wednesday, November 22nd
6pm-8pm Alpharetta Presbyterian Church (APC)
APC provides space in their buildings to serve as temporary homes. Day centers, where families can take showers, receive case management and look for housing and jobs, are provided. They share food, spend the night, play with children and lend their passion and expertise to help families get back on their feet. St. James UMC will serve and fellowship with those families. St. James UMC Homestretch Apartment Needs
HomeStretch guides working homeless families with minor children toward stability by providing Life Skills education, mentoring and supportive housing. St. James provides a Homestretch apartment. We need furniture and other household essentials and decorations for the apartment as the previous resident is moving into permanent housing and we want to prepare the apartment for the next resident.
Hosea Helps is having its annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner Event to Feed the Hungry November 23rd.
St. James is registered for the 9am to 12pm slot.
Outreach is sharing the love and grace that Jesus has extended to you to others in need. It is the call of every Christian… we are all called to show people that Jesus is alive.
